Pulling off the cap reveals the Japanese-made writing tip. Posting the cap on the back of the pen extends the length to a comfortable feel in hand.

Refilling the Wren is easy and fun. Simply take the cotton-core ink reservoir and soak the back end in a fountain pen ink bottle or ink sample. Wait until the ink reaches the top of the reservoir, which usually takes 5-8 seconds, and you're ready to write! You can clean and reuse the reservoir by rinsing it under running water until the water runs clear.
